Made it to Squamish and Whistler. The few days rest really helped my ankle. We Stayed in Squamish for one night in Stawamus Chief Provincial Park. It was an unmanned campground for 10 dollars a night. You drop your money into a box and found your site. Check out the view from our campsite below, was great way to start the trip.

I had a little bike trouble while in Squamish but was able to drop it into Corsa Cycle a small bike shop who were very helpful in getting everything set up for the long trip. I got new gears, drive train, wheels and tires, all purpose built for touring and climbing. I was able to leave Squamish a lot more confident about the bike which really helped me tackle the climb to Whistler.

After Squamish we carried on with the route to Whistler. An incredibly long tough day of cycling but hugely rewarding to get to the top and enjoy a nice beer. Camped in Spruce Park, it was a national park so waited until it close before setting everything up and headed of at he crack of dawn. Really enjoyed Whistler but would definitely lean towards Squamish.
