Today I passed into the final timezone and completed a 130km day. Lost a few km’s in Dinorwic because of the Thunderstorms but was great to make up the lost time and get back on track. Made it to a very small town called Raith, another unincorporated area. I am always nervous about entering a town and pitching my tent near or next to someones home. I know I would not be impressed, or at least would not have been before this trip. These smaller towns cut off from everything are normally more run down than those a little larger. So it makes me all the more nervous about where I am sleeping and who is around me. But i could not be more wrong, these towns have always be the kindest.

After a long day of cycling we pitched the tents on a road leading up to a few houses. The next morning we were invited into a locals home for coffee and a full fried breakfast. Then sent on our way with fruit and a can of coke. Was great to start the day on a full stomach. We had our own breakfast in the morning and then the fry but I don't think it is possible to be full on this trip and impossible to turn down food. More of that incredible hospitality!
