Eating like Kings!

Stopped in a small town called Rossport and camped on Island, Nicol. Had an amazing viewing looking out over Lake Superior and just at the edge of a cliff face. Was a great spot for a rest day but very little in the town other than one fine dining restaurant.

The next morning a couple from the neighboring houses asked us in for breakfast cooked us an amazing breakfast, steak and eggs. Then sent us on our way which huge piece of Striplion steak. It was frozen so would defrost while we made our way to the next town.

After a cold night we got to Marathon and Ciaran cooked up a roast dinner over the fire. Best meal I have had in the longest time and some good sustenance after the 2 days before! My ankle has swollen up and is very painful to walk on so have decided to take an extra day in marathon to rest up! Lots more here and amazing campsite that let us stay for free.
